Acceptance of waste tyres
The fee for acceptance of one tyre is 3,50 EUR, VAT inclusive.
Tyres are accepted in the territory of the company ‘’EKO OSTA’’ at Tvaika street 39, Riga on working days from 9.00 till 15.00. Please arrange the time of arrival and the quantity of tyres in advance by calling on +371 29359191.
Tyres should be disk free and clean. Tyres are considered clean which are removed from the car.
Used car tyres are accepted from legal entities upon agreement:
- Passenger car tyres – 150 EUR/t (excluding VAT);
- Truck tyres or truck and car tyres – 150 EUR/t (excluding VAT);
- Industrial, tractor, torn or soviet-made vehicle tyres – 275 euro per ton (excluding VAT);
- Moto vehicle tyres and bicycle tyres – 150 euro per ton (excluding VAT).
Transport services for collection of tyres are also available for convenience of the customers.
Transport* - 70 euro per hour (excluding VAT) – and loading costs are 90 euro per hour (excluding VAT), minimum lease time of the vehicle is 3 hours.

Waste management in car repair workshops
In all territory of Latvia we collect and dispose of:
- Used oil filters;
- Waste oil;
- Contaminated water;
- Absorbents and packaging;
- Mercury lamps and other hazardous waste.
Management of waste oils is carried out free of charge. Besides, if the proportion of the waste oil or used oil filters is no less than 6 liters of oil per one oil filter or 600 liters of oil per one oil filter container of 240 liters, then in such case the container of the used oil filters is also managed free of charge.
In case of necessity, it is possible to rent or buy wate accumulation containers for accumulation of hazardous waste with volume of 240 liters (for used filters), 1.1 m³ (for dry waste) and/or 1 m³ (for waste oil).
If the car repair workshop is located within Riga city borders, the accumulated waste will be collected within five working days, whereas outside Riga city – within fifteen working days after receipt of request.

Management of various hazardous waste
We carry out management of the following hazardous waste:
- Water contaminated with oil products, water emulsion;
- Industrial wastewater;
- Various waste oils;
- Soil contaminated with oil products;
- Organic solvents, varnish, paints, glues (in solid and liquid aggregate state);
- Hazardous and non-hazardous absorbents and packaging;
- Used electrical and electronic devices;
- Various chemical wastes;
- Waste containing asbestos;
- Other hazardous waste.

Accident consequences elimination
“EKO OSTA” offers operative accident consequences elimination both on land and in water aquatorium which includes:
- Operative elimination of consequences of hazardous cargo spills – pumping and localization of spills, deployment of absorbents etc.;
- Accident consequences elimination in internal water aquatoriums – deployment of booms for localization of spills, pumping spills with skimmer etc.;
- Prevention of environmental pollution caused by an accident – excavation and disposal of the contaminated soil, making the necessary laboratory tests etc.

Ship waste management
“EKO OSTA” carries out waste collection and further management from the ships entering Riga Free port which includes ballast, bilge, tank washing water, wastewater as well as various solid domestic and industrial waste. Acceptance of waste from ships is carried out with 2 ships, as well as with several road transport units.

Vacuum equipment services
We offer:
- fuel station network and oil base servicing;
- disposal of waste, liquids containing oil;
- cleaning of containers contaminated with oil by washing with high pressure equipment;
- cleaning, maintenance, sanitation of all types of treatment facilities;
- change of filtration material in pipelines, TV inspection (diagnostics), maintenance of treatment facilities, cleaning of sewer pipes;
- rinsing and dismantling of specific constructions (buildings) and contaminated containers;
- emergency sewer services (works for elimination of consequences of the accident);

Environmental remediation and geo-ecological research
EKO OSTA has accumulated significant experience in implementation of various environment remediation projects and is one of the largest companies in Latvia which implements the environmental remediation projects.

Auto transport services
The company has 24 specialized road transport units for transportation of hazardous waste.
Structure of the specialized auto transport:
- Tank vehicles with and without pumping equipment for transportation of various types of contaminated water, liquid oil waste and other type of liquids as well as the waste oil. For optimization purposes tanks of various volumes are used starting from 6m³ up to 32 m³ ;
- Vacuum equipment with high pressure washing function for pumping and transportation of oil waste and other liquids;
- Container vehicles with a manipulator which are intended for collection/ transportation of dry bulk waste, used tyres and other waste. Container volume from 20 m³ up to 40 m³ ;
- Cargo dumper semi-trailer unit which is intended for transportation of soil contaminated with oil products and absorbents;
- Moving floor semi-trailer unit with volume of 90 m³ which is intended for transportation of bulky waste, used tyres and other dry bulk waste or packaged waste;
- Closed type trucks of various capacities and lorries with or without cargo lifts or manipulators, which are intended for transportation of packaged waste.
